Hardwood floors & painting in Windham, NH
Windham's newer colonials and lake houses around Cobbetts Pond and Canobie Lake call for a clean, high-end finish. That's the work we like to show off.
Windham is one of the fastest-growing towns we serve, and it shows in the houses: big colonials and custom homes from the 1990s through today, many of them with wide-plank or site-finished oak that's due for its first refinish. Add the older cottages and year-round homes around Cobbetts Pond and Canobie Lake, and there's a lot of variety inside one small town.
Our Windham work is a mix of refinishing floors that have taken fifteen or twenty years of family traffic, installing new hardwood and luxury vinyl plank in basements and bonus rooms, epoxy on garage floors, and interior painting. Windham is about 15 minutes from our shop in Hudson down Route 111, so it's an easy daily drive for a crew.

What we do in Windham
Homes here, and what they need.
Windham is largely 1990s to 2020s colonials and custom homes off Route 111 and around I-93 exit 3, with lakefront and lake-area homes at Cobbetts Pond and Canobie Lake. Floors are mostly red and white oak, including wider planks and some engineered hardwood in newer builds. Finished basements and three-car garages are common, so LVP and epoxy come up a lot.
- Hardwood refinishing
First refinish on 1990s and 2000s oak, often moving from orange oil-based to a clearer water-based finish.
- Flooring installation
Hardwood in bonus rooms and LVP in finished basements and lake-house entries that see wet feet.
- Epoxy floors
Epoxy on large garage floors.
- Interior painting
Repainting open-plan main floors and two-story foyers.

Questions
Windham questions.
Does LCH work in Windham, NH?
Yes. Windham is about 15 minutes from our shop in Hudson by Route 111. We refinish and install hardwood, install luxury vinyl plank, coat garage floors with epoxy, and paint interiors there.
My floors are only about 20 years old. Do they really need refinishing?
Twenty years of traffic is plenty to wear through the finish in kitchens, hallways, and in front of the sink, which is where the gray paths show up. A refinish takes the floor back to bare wood and gives you a fresh finish, and it's also the chance to change the color or switch to a water-based finish that stays clear.
What flooring works best in a lake house?
For entries and basements that see wet feet and humidity swings, luxury vinyl plank is hard to beat. For the main living areas, hardwood or engineered hardwood still gives the look most lake-house owners want. We can mix them so each room gets the right floor.
Do you handle whole-house projects in Windham?
Yes. Floors throughout, then painting, is a common sequence for Windham homeowners, and it's efficient to do both with one company while the house is already disrupted.
