Flooring & painting in Londonderry, NH
Londonderry is a straight shot down Route 102 from our shop, and its 1970s to 1990s colonials and garrisons are exactly the houses our crews grew up in.
Londonderry is big, spread out, and full of the kind of houses that make for good flooring work: colonials and garrisons built from the 1970s through the 1990s on large lots, with solid oak on the main floor and carpet upstairs. Between I-93 exits 4 and 5, the orchards, and the neighborhoods off Mammoth Road, we've trailered in to a lot of driveways here.
Most Londonderry calls are for refinishing the main level, replacing upstairs carpet with hardwood or luxury vinyl plank, and coating the garage floor. Interior painting rounds it out. Londonderry is about 20 minutes from Hudson, so we're there first thing in the morning and gone by the time you're home from work.

What we do in Londonderry
Homes here, and what they need.
Londonderry's housing is mostly 1970s to 1990s colonials, garrisons, and splits on acre-plus lots, plus newer homes around Woodmont Commons and the Route 102 corridor. Solid red oak main floors are the norm, usually 3/4-inch and good for several refinishes. Attached two-car garages and finished basements make epoxy and LVP common requests.
- Hardwood refinishing
Main-floor oak refinishes in 80s and 90s colonials, often with a fresh stain color.
- Flooring installation
Carpet to hardwood upstairs, and LVP in finished basements.
- Epoxy floors
Epoxy on attached garage floors, including slabs with old oil stains that need real prep.
- Interior painting
Ceilings, walls, and trim throughout, often alongside the floor work.

Questions
Londonderry questions.
Does LCH serve Londonderry, NH?
Yes. Londonderry is about 20 minutes east of our shop in Hudson on Route 102, and we work there regularly: hardwood refinishing, hardwood and LVP installation, epoxy floor coatings, and interior painting.
Can I change the color of my oak floors when you refinish them?
Yes. Once the floor is sanded to bare wood it can take any stain, from natural to light gray-brown to dark espresso. We put stain samples directly on your floor so you can pick the color in your own light, not from a chip.
Should I replace the upstairs carpet with hardwood or LVP?
Hardwood matches the main floor and adds resale value; LVP is waterproof and lower-cost, which is why it's popular in kids' rooms and basements. We'll walk through both at the estimate and price whichever you want, or both.
My garage slab has oil stains and some pitting. Can it still be epoxied?
Usually, yes. Proper prep is most of the job: we degrease, grind the surface, and fill pits and cracks before the coating goes on. If a slab really isn't a good candidate, we'll say so at the inspection.
