Hardwood & LVP flooring installation

Solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, or luxury vinyl plank, installed clean and tight. One room or the whole house.

We handle the whole job: pulling up carpet or old flooring, prepping the subfloor, installing the new floor, and putting baseboards and trim back on. One crew and one schedule instead of three contractors.

Not sure what to put down? Hardwood adds warmth and value and can be refinished for decades. LVP is waterproof and tough, which makes it a smart pick for kitchens, basements, and busy households with kids and pets. We'll walk you through the trade-offs at your estimate.

Options

Which floor is right?

Solid hardwood

Real wood all the way through. It can be sanded and refinished again and again.

Engineered hardwood

A real wood top layer over a stable core that handles New England's humidity swings well.

Luxury vinyl plank

Waterproof, scratch-resistant, and budget-friendly. Great for kitchens, basements, and homes with pets.

“Very happy I went with LCH for my LVP install for my kitchen remodel project. Due to other contractors being in and out of the house constantly, they came and finished the job in one day which was a huge help for us planning the rest of the project.”

“These guys do what they say! Nice Oak flooring done expediently, friendly, prompt messaging and communication and cleaned up with no mess left over.”

“Five stars is not enough. LCH exceeded our expectations. We had a new Vinyl Plank flooring installed in our master bedroom, along with painting the room. Our bedroom looks awesome, thanks to Calvin and his crew for going above and beyond any questions or issues that we had. Highly recommend LCH, won't hesitate to hire them again.”

Questions

Flooring installation questions.

Should I choose hardwood or LVP?

Hardwood adds warmth and resale value and can be refinished many times. LVP is waterproof, very durable, and usually costs less, which makes it a favorite for kitchens, basements, and homes with kids and pets. We'll help you decide at your free estimate.

How much does new flooring cost?

It depends on the material (solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, or LVP), the square footage, removing the old floor, any subfloor prep, and trim work. Your free estimate includes measurements and a written proposal that lists exactly what's included.

Do you install engineered hardwood?

Yes. We install solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, and luxury vinyl plank (LVP).

Can you remove my old carpet or flooring?

Yes. Removing old carpet or flooring can be part of the job, along with taking off and reinstalling baseboards and trim.

How long does a flooring installation take?

It depends on the size and the material. Some LVP rooms are done in a single day; a full floor of hardwood takes longer. Your proposal includes the schedule.

What if you find damage under the old floor?

Pulling up old flooring sometimes uncovers subfloor damage or moisture. If that happens, we show you what we found and explain your options before doing any extra work.
